Anti Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide; Anti CPP (LPL)

The Anti Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide (Anti-CCP) (LPL) test is a blood test used to detect Anti-CCP antibodies, which are highly specific markers for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the joints, leading to pain, swelling, stiffness, and progressive joint damage. The Anti-CCP test is considered one of the most reliable laboratory tests for the early diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis and is often more specific than the Rheumatoid Factor (RF) test.
