The PTH (Parathyroid Hormone), Intact test measures the level of parathyroid hormone (PTH) in the blood. PTH is produced by the parathyroid glands, located behind the thyroid gland, and plays a crucial role in regulating calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D metabolism.
