TB SPECTRUM - Pulmonary (M)

The TB SPECTRUM – Pulmonary (M) test is a comprehensive diagnostic panel designed for the accurate detection and detailed evaluation of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). This advanced panel combines multiple laboratory technologies, including AFB Culture by MGIT, Genexpert (Nested PCR), Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), and 13-drug anti-tuberculosis susceptibility testing, to identify Mycobacterium tuberculosis, detect drug resistance, and help guide personalized treatment.

The TB SPECTRUM panel includes four integrated tests: AFB Culture, Genexpert, NextGen TB (NGS), and susceptibility testing for 13 anti-TB drugs. It is recommended for patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis, recurrent TB, treatment failure, or suspected drug-resistant TB. By combining rapid molecular detection with culture confirmation and comprehensive drug susceptibility analysis, this test enables early diagnosis, accurate identification of resistance patterns, and selection of the most effective treatment regimen. The results should always be interpreted alongside clinical findings, imaging studies, and other laboratory investigations for optimal patient management.
